Rywa Salamander
Rywa Salamander, originally from Poland, was a Holocaust survivor who endured the horrors of the Warsaw Ghetto. After the war, she lived in the Föhrenwald Displaced Persons camp, where she raised her children, including Rachel Salamander, amidst the trauma of her past. Rywa's strength and resilience were evident despite her struggles with health and her family's tragic history, as she sought to provide a better life for her children.
