Saddám Husajn

Saddám Husajn was the fifth President of Iraq, serving from 1979 until 2003. His regime was marked by authoritarian rule, widespread human rights abuses, and aggressive military campaigns, including the Iran-Iraq War and the invasion of Kuwait. He was deposed following the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003 and was later captured, tried, and executed for crimes against humanity.
