Sana el-Azab

Sana el-Azab is a former teacher from Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip who was recently evacuated to the UK to pursue a scholarship in educational leadership and change at Durham University. After facing significant challenges due to the destruction of educational institutions in Gaza, she established a makeshift school for displaced children, teaching them essential subjects and survival skills amidst ongoing conflict. Her journey from Gaza to the UK represents a critical opportunity for her to continue her education and eventually contribute to rebuilding her homeland.
