Sandana Silvam is a UAE-based engineer who, along with a group of friends, visited Pahalgam for an annual trip that coincided with a terrorist attack in the area. Despite the grim circumstances, he expressed sympathy for the local Kashmiri people and highlighted the kindness shown by locals who assured them of protection during the crisis.
