Saraswathi

Saraswathi is the sister of Subramanyam 'Subu' Vedam, an Indian-origin man who was wrongfully imprisoned for 43 years for a murder he did not commit. Following her brother's recent release from prison and subsequent detention by immigration authorities, she expressed hope that the Board of Immigration Appeals would recognize the injustice of his potential deportation after a lifetime spent in the United States.
