Savas Çivikos

Savas Çivikos is the President of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), one of the oldest Greek-American organizations in the United States. He has been vocal about issues concerning U.S.-Turkey relations, particularly in the context of military sales such as the F-35 fighter jets. In a recent letter to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, he warned that selling F-35s to Turkey could undermine U.S. national security and reward a government that has acted against American interests and those of its allies.
