Shannon MacDonald is a professor in the University of Alberta’s faculty of nursing and an adjunct professor in the School of Public Health. She is conducting research on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on childhood immunization coverage and is working to understand the factors influencing vaccine uptake and public trust in vaccinations.
