Sheikh Abdel-Rahman

Sheikh Abdel-Rahman, known as the 'Blind Sheikh,' was a prominent Egyptian cleric and a key figure in Islamist movements, who gained notoriety in the United States for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other radical activities. He was convicted on charges of terrorism and conspiracy and was imprisoned until his death in 2017.
