Shi Yucen

Shi Yucen is a young member of the Young Pioneers of China, who recently received a heartfelt letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping. The letter, sent in celebration of International Children's Day, encourages Shi and fellow students from the sites of the Communist Party's origins in Shanghai and Jiaxing, Zhejiang, to carry forward their 'red genes' and embody the spirit of patriotism and hard work as they grow into responsible citizens.
