Shtengelov is a Russian billionaire and businessman, known for founding KDV, one of Russia’s largest food and beverage companies. He began his career in the 1990s, starting with small ventures that involved supplying sunflower seeds and producing edible oils. Under his leadership, KDV has grown to employ over 39,000 people and generates significant revenue through a diverse product range, including snacks and baby food. Shtengelov has also been involved in international ventures, including acquiring U.S.-based Liberty Orchards. Recently, he has been in the news due to a Moscow court case that could lead to the state seizing his business assets amid increased asset appropriations in Russia.
