Silvano Ortellado

Silvano Ortellado was a Paraguayan farmer and member of the Ligas Agrarias Cristianas who was executed during the brutal repression under Alfredo Stroessner's regime. His death during the Pascua Dolorosa operation symbolizes the severe human rights violations faced by many innocent individuals who were caught in the violent sweep against political dissent in Paraguay.
