Simón bar-Jona

Simón bar-Jona, also known as Peter, is a foundational figure in Christianity, recognized as one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is often regarded as the 'first among equals' among the apostles and is traditionally considered the first pope of the Roman Catholic Church, with Jesus stating that he would build his church upon Peter.
