Šin bet

Šin bet is Israel's internal security service, primarily responsible for counterintelligence, security, and anti-terrorism operations. Recently, it released findings from an investigation into the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel, acknowledging its own failures in preventing the incident while attributing part of the blame to external factors, including alleged financial support from Qatar to Hamas.
