Katar
Katar is a small yet influential Gulf nation known for its significant financial resources and strategic diplomatic role in Middle Eastern politics. The country has been a host to the political office of Hamas since 2012, which has led to accusations of supporting the Palestinian militant group. Despite these allegations, Qatar maintains that all humanitarian assistance it provides to Gaza is conducted transparently and with the knowledge of both Israeli and international authorities. Recently, Qatar rejected claims made by Israel's Shin Bet security agency that it financed Hamas prior to the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, describing such accusations as unfounded and a distraction from the real issues at hand.
