Soffía Auður Birgisdóttir

Soffía Auður Birgisdóttir is an Icelandic author and editor who played a significant role in the re-publication of Elín Thorarensen's memoir, 'Angantýr', in 2011. Her efforts brought renewed attention to the complex story of Elín and Jóhann's relationship, as well as to the existence of their child, which had been largely overlooked in historical narratives.
