Sofía Bello

Sofía Bello is a wildlife veterinarian and rescuer working with the Gobernación de Santa Cruz, where she plays a vital role in the rehabilitation and reintroduction of rescued wild animals back into their natural habitats. Recently, she was in the news for overseeing the successful release of a sloth, a tamandua, a toucan, and a boa snake that were previously rescued from urban areas and rehabilitated at the Centro de Atención y Derivación de Fauna Silvestre.
