Soumaïla Sawadogo

Soumaïla Sawadogo, a 47-year-old farmer residing in Kaya, Burkina Faso, is facing severe challenges in feeding his herd of 40 cattle and a hundred small ruminants due to insecurity and rising feed costs. Like his colleague Kassoum Gansonré, he is exploring the possibility of growing maralfalfa to provide a reliable source of nutrition for his animals.
