Ștefan Zăvoianu

Ștefan Zăvoianu was the prefect of the Legionary Police in Bucharest during the National Legionary State in Romania. He played a significant role in the violent reprisals against political opponents, particularly in the aftermath of the assassination of Corneliu Zelea Codreanu. His involvement in the establishment of 'black lists' of political adversaries directly contributed to the brutal crackdown on dissent during this period.
