Steve Sisolak
Steve Sisolak is an American politician and businessman who served as the 36th governor of Nevada from January 2019 until January 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, Sisolak was the first Democrat to hold the governorship in Nevada since 1999. Prior to his governorship, he served as the chairman of the Clark County Commission, where he focused on issues such as economic development and infrastructure. Sisolak was defeated by Republican Joe Lombardo in the 2022 gubernatorial election, marking a significant political shift in the state.
