Suhejla

Suhejla is a 39-year-old Bosnian woman who underwent radicalization and lived in Syria under difficult circumstances, having left her two children behind to join her partner. Her experiences in Syria, including her husband's role in a militant group, exposed her to severe oppression, violence, and trauma. After being detained in Turkey, she returned to Bosnia, where she faces ongoing stigma and struggles to reintegrate into society, advocating for mental health support and a normal life for her children.
