Suwon Lee is a Venezuelan-Korean visual artist known for her autobiographical photography projects. She began her career in 2004 with self-portraits and has since created works that explore personal and familial narratives, such as her series 'Crepuscular,' which is part of the permanent collection at MoMA in New York since 2018. Her recent project, 'Mr & Mrs,' involves a deeply personal exploration of her ancestral history through over 1,000 family photographs discovered after her grandparents' passing, culminating in a unique photobook set for publication in 2024.
