Svetlana Yetimova

Svetlana Yetimova is the chairperson of a homeowners' association (ОСИ) in one of the 'Seven Barrels' residential buildings in Astana. After moving into the complex 12 years ago, she has become a prominent voice for residents facing serious construction deficiencies, particularly regarding insulation and fire safety. Yetimova highlights the dangerous conditions in their homes, including cold drafts and the risk of fire due to inadequate safety systems, and she has been instrumental in organizing community efforts to address these issues.
