Svyatoslav Shapovalov

Svyatoslav Shapovalov, a history teacher and political activist, fled Belarus in 2002, claiming persecution by the Lukashenko government. Unlike his colleagues, he later became involved in genuine opposition activities in Belarus, participating in protests and advocating for political change, while also engaging with historical and cultural issues relevant to Belarus.
