Szemerkényi Réka is a former Hungarian ambassador to Washington, D.C., serving from 2015 to 2017. She has been vocal about the shifts in international relations brought about by the Russian-Ukrainian war and the need for Hungary to adapt its foreign policy in light of new geopolitical realities.
