Taif Sami
Taif Sami is the Iraqi Minister of Finance, appointed in October 2022. She is one of the few women in high-ranking positions in the Iraqi government and has previously worked in various capacities within the Ministry of Finance. Sami has been involved in financial reforms and economic planning in Iraq. Recently, she was mentioned in a lawsuit filed by President Abdul Latif Rashid regarding the delay in salary payments for Kurdish civil servants, highlighting the ongoing financial disputes within the government.
