Tanya Bezzant

Tanya Bezzant is a passionate advocate for flag football, serving as the director of operations for the Toronto Flag Football League. Known by the nickname 'Flutie' due to her dynamic playing style reminiscent of former CFL and NFL quarterback Doug Flutie, Bezzant has been instrumental in expanding participation in the sport, including the recent addition of a program for four- and five-year-olds. With a strong belief in the accessibility and inclusivity of flag football, she is dedicated to fostering opportunities for players of all ages and particularly champions the growing involvement of girls in the game.
