Taras Shpuk
Taras Shpuk, known by his call sign 'Cherep', was a dedicated military service member and former employee of the charity organization 'Povernys' Zhyvym'. Born and raised in Ivano-Frankivsk, he was a prominent coach for Ukrainian teams competing in the Invictus Games and Warrior Games. Shpuk was actively involved in supporting veterans and adaptive sports, beginning his work with the charity in 2019. He was also a participant in the Euromaidan protests and first joined the military in 2014. With the onset of the full-scale war, he transitioned from logistical support to joining a special operations unit. Tragically, Shpuk lost his life while performing a combat mission at the age of 34.
