Tassaduq Hussain Jillani is a former Chief Justice of Pakistan who served on the Supreme Court from 2004 to 2014. He is recognized for his significant contributions to the promotion of human rights, religious freedom, gender equality, and the independence of the judiciary. In 2007, he gained attention for refusing to take an oath of allegiance to then-President Pervez Musharraf, leading to his removal from the Supreme Court.
