Tawyeh Faraj

Tawyeh Faraj is a 56-year-old buffalo herder who has experienced a drastic reduction in his herd from 120 to just 30 due to the ongoing water crisis in southern Iraq. He voiced concerns over the loss of his livelihood and the traditional practice of buffalo herding, as many of his family members have been forced to seek work in other sectors.
