Te Huia

Te Huia is an enthusiastic participant in the IronMāori Marae Wero, having recently completed a challenging team event alongside his brothers. Despite facing the physical hurdles of age and health, including a history of six hip replacements among them, he expressed pride in his achievement and the camaraderie shared with his siblings during their training. Te Huia's journey into competitive sports began with a newfound passion for swimming, which he humorously noted was limited to chasing seafood prior to this event. His determination and supportive spirit highlight the importance of family and perseverance in tackling new challenges.
