Teofil Aleksandrijski was a prominent patriarch of Alexandria known for his strong leadership and theological contributions during the late 4th and early 5th centuries. He played a crucial role in the early Church, particularly in the context of the Christological controversies of his time. Teofil was also the uncle of Cyril of Alexandria, who succeeded him as patriarch.
