Thofania d'Adamo

Thofania d'Adamo was the mother of Giulia Tofana, who was executed in 1635 for the murder of her husband. She is believed to have been the one who taught Giulia the art of poisoning, which laid the groundwork for her daughter's future operations in providing lethal poisons to distressed women.
