Tiffany Nicole is a 45-year-old tax consultant who emigrated from Chicago to Mexico City in 2020, driven by concerns for her safety as a Black woman in the U.S. following the murder of George Floyd. She had initially considered returning to the U.S. to be with her daughter but changed her plans after Donald Trump's electoral victory.
