Tin Afifah

Tin Afifah is a researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Indonesia, specializing in public health and nutrition. She has drawn attention for her analysis of the rising levels of loneliness and mental health issues among Indonesian teenagers, based on data from the Global School-based Student Health Survey (GSHS). Her findings indicate significant increases in feelings of loneliness and suicidal ideation among youth over the past two decades, attributing these trends to drastic social changes and the impact of technology.
