Tina Matos

Tina Matos is the Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy Director of Supervision at the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FinTRAC). She has been actively involved in the agency's efforts to combat financial crimes related to the opioid crisis, particularly as it pertains to fentanyl trafficking. Matos recently outlined FinTRAC's initiatives aimed at disrupting organized crime's financial networks and emphasized the importance of sharing actionable intelligence with law enforcement to address what has been characterized as a continuing national crisis in Canada.
