Tobias Mayer

Tobias Mayer was a prominent German cartographer, mathematician, and astronomer in the 18th century, recognized for his influential role in map publishing. He edited the first edition of Jan Nepretsky's map, which was released in 1749 by the leading map publishers of his time, signifying the high standards of cartographic education in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
