Tommy Guzmán

Tommy Guzmán is the coordinator of the coeducators for the deaf at the Instituto para Sordos Santa Rosa and a key advocate for the recognition of Dominican Sign Language (LSRD). He has emphasized the importance of ensuring the effective implementation of the recently passed Law 43-23, which officially recognizes LSRD as the natural language of the deaf population in the Dominican Republic.
