Tony Dorsett is a former professional American football running back who played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1977 to 1987. A standout player from the University of Pittsburgh, he became a key figure in the Cowboys' offense and was known for his speed and agility. Dorsett was a member of the Cowboys' Super Bowl XII championship team and is famously remembered for his record-breaking 99-yard touchdown run against the Minnesota Vikings in 1983. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
