He was best known for his collaborations with director Woody Allen, where he portrayed the calm and rational friend in films such as 'Annie Hall' and 'Hannah and Her Sisters.' With a career that spanned several decades, Roberts also garnered two Tony Award nominations for his work on Broadway.
