Tory

Tory is the first Māori mayor of Wellington, having taken office in October 2022. With a strong focus on supporting wāhine Māori, rangatahi, and diverse communities, she has made significant strides in her role, including advocating for social housing and arts funding. Despite facing online bullying and personal challenges, Tory remains committed to advocating for legislative changes to address online violence and creating safer pathways for women in politics.
