
Túpac Yupanqui
Túpac Yupanqui was the ninth Sapa Inca of the Inca Empire, reigning from 1471 to 1493. He is renowned for his military conquests and expansion of the empire, as well as for his naval expeditions, including voyages to the Galápagos Islands. Túpac Yupanqui is often associated with the Inca's ambitious plans for expansion into Central America, which were interrupted by the arrival of Spanish conquistadors.
