Tyler Vargas-Andrews

Retired Marine Corps Sergeant Tyler Vargas-Andrews is a combat veteran who sustained life-altering injuries during the Abbey Gate attack at Kabul airport in August 2021. He lost an arm and a leg in the explosion and has since been an advocate for accountability regarding the circumstances surrounding the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Vargas-Andrews recently praised former President Donald Trump for the apprehension of a terrorist believed to be responsible for the attack, expressing gratitude for the support shown to Gold Star families by Trump's administration.
