Umm Shukry

Umm Shukry is a 72-year-old Palestinian woman who has devoted the last decade to nurturing her olive trees in the West Bank. This harvest season, she faces heartbreaking loss as nearly all her trees have been damaged due to settler violence and restrictions imposed by the Israeli army, leaving her feeling suffocated by sorrow. Despite the hardships, she remains steadfast in her connection to the land, which her family has tended for over 50 years.
