Unknown Ticket Inspector

A ticket inspector at Fridhemsplan subway station in Stockholm was recently in the news for being convicted of making false accusations against a passenger. The incident occurred in July 2022 when the inspector sold a standard ticket to a 65-year-old man who requested a discounted senior ticket. After the man returned to address the issue, conflicting accounts of the encounter emerged, leading to the inspector's claim that the man had threatened him. However, surveillance footage contradicted the inspector's statements, resulting in the inspector being charged and ultimately convicted of minor false accusation.
