Valeriy Averin

Valeriy Averin was a 23-year-old Russian who had been raised in a children's home in Eastern Siberia and later fostered. He signed a military contract while in his final year at a construction technical school, believing he would serve as a drone operator. However, shortly after his training, he was sent to the front lines where he tragically lost his life in a mortar attack near Luhansk just a week after communicating with his foster mother.
