Valeriy Zaluzhniy

Valeriy Zaluzhniy is a high-ranking Ukrainian military officer who served as the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was involved in the planning of the sabotage operation against the Nord Stream gas pipeline, which was alleged to have been coordinated with a group of Ukrainian military officials and businessmen. Following the operation, which led to a significant geopolitical fallout, Zaluzhniy was dismissed by President Volodymyr Zelensky in what was seen as a political maneuver amid rising tensions within the Ukrainian government.
