Vasili Hamutovski

Vasili Hamutovski is a former professional goalkeeper and notable figure in Belarusian football, recognized for his contributions to the Steaua București team from 2003 to 2006 and for representing the Belarus national team. After returning to Belarus, he became a vocal opponent of President Alexander Lukașenko, participating in protests against the regime. His activism led to his arrest and subsequent disappearance, raising concerns for his safety, especially as he has also battled cancer.
