His leadership as the president of the National Association of Aquaculturists of Honduras and as the manager of Grupo Granjas Marinas marked significant advancements in the sector, including the establishment of the largest shrimp processing plant in Honduras, which employed nearly 3,000 people. His vision helped position Honduras as a key player in the global shrimp market, exporting value-added products to major countries including Germany, England, France, and the United States.
