Viktor Strigunov
Viktor Strigunov is a former high-ranking official in the Russian security forces, having served as the first deputy head of the National Guard of Russia (Rosgvardiya) since January 2020. Prior to his appointment, he commanded the Siberian District of the National Guard. Strigunov, a general-polkovnik since 2017, has recently been in the news following his arrest on charges of abuse of power and bribery, indicating significant legal troubles stemming from his tenure in a prominent security position.
