Vincent Gaynor

Vincent Gaynor is a New York City construction worker and the father of Sophia Gaynor, who was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). He became a prominent advocate for SMA research through his charity, Sophia's Cure, which he founded to fund groundbreaking gene therapy research, ultimately leading to the development of Zolgensma, the world's most expensive drug.
